Chung Lee
Chung Lee, born in Taipei, studies at Columbia University School of the Arts. His graduation short film, "Mochi," earned a nomination at the Student Academy Awards in 2009. Upon returning to Taiwan, Lee contributed to various productions, such as "Monga" (2010) and "Love" (2012) by director Niu Doze, and "The Assassin" (2015) directed by Hou Hsiao-Hsien. In 2015, he directed his debut feature film, "The Laundryman," which received invitations to prestigious international film festivals, including the Piazza Grande section of the 2015 Locarno Film Festival. The same year, the film garnered four nominations at the Golden Horse Awards.
