Filmmaker Hirobumi Watanabe embarks on a spirited quest across Japan, traveling from Okinawa to Hokkaido during the COVID-19 pandemic. His mission is to sell his films to arthouse cinemas. Along the way, he encounters a mysterious and enigmatic woman, Yuri, whose ever-shifting identities add layers of complexity to his journey.

Kah Wai Lim
Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Kah Wai Lim made his mark in the film industry with his 2010 suspense film "After All These Years." He continued his directorial journey with the 2011 Osaka-based thriller "New World," which premiered at the Hong Kong International Film Festival and set the stage for a trilogy set in Japan's second-largest city, including "Fly Me to Minami" (2013) and "Come and Go" (2020). Lim's filmmaking ventures expanded to the Balkans, where he crafted films like "No Where, Now Here" (2018) and "Somewhen, Somewhere" (2019), as well as in China with the 2016 film "Love in Late Autumn." His latest work, the road movie/comedy "Your Lovely Smile," marks his debut screening at Udine FEFF.
